Our Touched Twice United Clinic 2012 will be Saturday, April 21 from 9:00 a.m until 2:00pm. (registration opens 8:30am).
We have added an extra hours so we will be able to serve more guests. Please mark your calendar for this very special serving opportunity. You will show the love of Christ to those in need in our community by providing free services, a hot meal, food and clothing and most of all Christ's Love.
In Matthew 25:34-36, Jesus says,
"Then the King will sayd to those on His right, 'Come you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'"
In verse 40, Jesus tells us that whatever we do for the least of these brothers of mine, you did it for Him. These verses describe what we are accomplishing with Touched Twice.
We can definitely use you. There will be many serving opportunities available and all are equally important. Some that are available to sign up for are: Advocates, Food Coordinator, Photography Coordinator, Follow-Up Coordinator and Parking Coordinator.
We are also beginning to collect clothing, shoes, baby items and housewares. Please organize with like items and label boxes or bags. (This is not the opportunity to clean your house of anything you want to toss out. We are looking for gently used or new items. Goodwill and Hoope Gospel will take many of your other items.)
